We have requirement for Crop Husbandry Executive for Isha Foundation, Coimbatore. Please find below the Job responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities:

1. Conduct baseline and related studies as necessary for the project / FPOs.
2. Collect and analyze crop data for the FPO members.
3. Work on methods and approaches to enhance both agriculture production and productivity of the FPO members.
4. Work on developing the commodity value chain approach for the FPOs.
5. Conduct capacity-building programs as and when required.
6. Liaison with various stakeholders like Agriculture extension officers, and other value chain players.
7. Participate in meetings and workshops to share the learning from the project.
8. Coordinate with Project Manager/ District Coordination and participate in the monthly meeting for review, planning, and effective implementation.
9. Prepare progress reports and plans (Monthly, Quarterly & Annual) for submission.
10. Prepare case studies and process documentation.
11. Periodically update knowledge on latest best practices & facilitate an introduction to farmers as relevant.
12. Create demonstration of post-harvesting techniques.
13. Provide valuable information on crop-specific pest/disease management.
14. Providing guidance in Input shops. 15. Exploring new varieties of seed materials.
