Role Description The Field Engineers – Admissions role at Focalyt is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhubaneswar. The role involves visiting designated field locations, educational institutions, and community centers to promote Focalyt's training programs and support the admissions process. Responsibilities include engaging with prospective learners and their families, explaining course offerings and career pathways, and guiding candidates through eligibility checks, documentation, and enrollment. The Field Engineer – Admissions will coordinate with internal teams to schedule counseling sessions, maintain accurate records of leads and admissions, and provide basic technical and operational support related to admission systems or tools. The role also includes periodic reporting on field activities, supporting outreach events, and gathering feedback from stakeholders to improve the admissions experience.
Qualifications
- Strong Field Service and on-ground outreach skills, with the ability to travel locally and work effectively in diverse communities.
- Proficient Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication in relevant regional languages and English.
- Ability to perform basic Troubleshooting and Technical Support for admission-related tools, devices, or software used in the field.
- Foundational Project Management abilities, including planning visits, organizing admission drives, and maintaining accurate documentation and reports.
- Prior experience in admissions, field sales, education, or skill development is preferred.
- Minimum of a diploma or bachelor's degree in any discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Comfort with basic computer applications (MS Office, spreadsheets, online forms, and communication tools).
- Self-motivated, ethical, and able to work with minimal supervision while meeting targets and deadlines.
