We are seeking a Field Communications Technician with 3+ years and above to join the team. This role combines technical expertise in RF systems with project management in the telecommunications and infrastructure sector.
About the Role
Location: Alibag / Mandwa / Pen area. Candidates based in Mumbai may also be considered, provided they can reliably reach the site when required and meet the on-call response expectations.
First preference is Israeli candidates with valid work authorization in Mumbai.
Responsibilities
- Technical Support
- Support servers, antennas, shelter infrastructure, networking, and remote access systems.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain system availability.
- Construction Project Management
- Plan, execute, and oversee telecommunications infrastructure projects.
- Support maintenance window activities in the Alibag / Mandwa / Pen area
Qualifications
- Experience in field work, including hands-on technical support and maintenance at customer or infrastructure sites.
- Familiarity with telecommunications infrastructure and networks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work non-standard hours and weekends on-call when required; this is not expected to be on a regular basis.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the local area.
Required Skills
- Candidates must have valid work authorization in Mumbai/India, as work visa sponsorship is not available.
Preferred Skills
- Full-time dedicated position.
- Selected candidate is expected to work exclusively and not combine this role with other ongoing engagements.
Pay range and compensation package
- Local travel within the Alibag / Mandwa / Pen area is expected in accordance with local employment practices in India.
- No regular international travel is anticipated.
