The Field Application Engineer will be responsible for on-site deployment, support, and optimization of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs).
Key Responsibilities:
Commissioning & Deployment
- Installation and commissioning of AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) systems at customer sites
- Support initial setup, testing, and validation of AMR operations
Breakdown & Service Support
- Attend breakdown calls and troubleshoot hardware, software, and operational issues
- Coordinate with internal technical teams for issue resolution
Operations Monitoring & Training
- Monitor AMR performance to ensure maximum utilization and uptime
- Train operators and supervisors on safe and effective AMR usage
- Support adherence to SOPs and operational best practices
Skill Requirements
Basic understanding of:
- Mechatronics systems
- Electrical, mechanical, and control fundamentals
- Sensors, motors, and automation concepts
- Python, C++ , Ubuntu OS -terminal Commands
- Willingness to work at customer sites
- Good communication skills for operators interaction and training
- Strong learning attitude and problem-solving mindset
Work Location: Pune and Ahmedabad
Educational Background: Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering
Work Experience: 1 to 3 years
