Key responsibilities include:
1. Strategic and Functional Responsibilities
- Solutions Promotion & Sales Support: Drive the adoption of our integrated hardware and software offerings:
Embedded Devices: Biometric Scanners, MicroATM'S, Point-of-Sale (POS) Terminals, Cloud Speakers, Handheld Terminals (HHTs/PIDs), Bluetooth Printers
Software Platforms: Mobile Device Management (MDM), MQTT-based IoT Messaging Hubs, Terminal Management System (TMS) software, Registered Device Services and other cloud platform solutions.
- Architectural Consultation: Engage with customers technical and business teams to analyse their workflow challenges. Architect and propose tailored solutions combining our devices with our platform services (e.g., deploying an MDM to manage a fleet of Handheld Terminals with a TMS).
- Proof-of-Concept & Demos: Develop, configure, and deliver compelling live demonstrations and PoCs that showcase the full capabilities of our ecosystem, from device setup via MDM to data flow via MQTT to dashboard analytics.
- Technical Enablement: Provide in-depth technical training and support to customers and channel partners on product integration, API usage, platform configuration, and best practices.
- Post-Sales Technical Leadership: Oversee the critical technical phases of pilot projects and initial deployments, ensuring successful go-live and acting as the escalation point for complex integration issues.
- Feedback Channel: Document customer requirements, feature requests, and implementation challenges. Work closely with R&D and Product Development teams to influence the product roadmap.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in an FAE, Solutions Architect, or Embedded Systems Engineer role, with a strong focus on customer-facing technical consultancy.
- Technical Must-Haves:
- Solid understanding of embedded systems architecture and development.
- Hands-on experience with embedded OS (Linux, C, Android, RTOS), device drivers, and system-level debugging.
- Strong software/integration skills: Experience with APIs (REST, SDKs), cloud services, and network protocols (TCP/IP, MQTT, WebSockets).
- Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM/EMM) concepts and platforms.
- Ability to discuss business workflows & digital end customer Journey (e.g., in Banking ,logistics or retail) and map them to technical solutions.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the POS, Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC), or IoT industry.
- Knowledge of biometric integration and security concepts.
- Basic scripting/programming in Python, Java, or JavaScript for automation and demo purposes.
- Soft Skills: Outstanding consultative presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical engineers and business stakeholders. Strong project coordination and problem-solving skills. A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
