Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Field Application Engineer to join our sales department. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of electronics, particularly electronic circuits, and have a successful track record in field application within industries where our semiconductor components play a vital role.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers to understand their technical requirements, system specifications, and challenges.
• Recommend suitable CDIL products and solutions that align with the customer's needs.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support throughout the design, development, and implementation phases.
• Assist in troubleshooting hardware, software, and system-level issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Work closely with the customer's engineering team to guide the integration of CDIL products into their systems.
• Review schematics, layouts, and designs to ensure compatibility and optimal performance of our products.
• Support the development of prototypes and the validation of final designs.
• Sales Support:

New Application Identification: Collaborate with the sales team to identify new applications for existing CDIL products, expanding market opportunities.

Cross-Selling Opportunities: Analyze customers product schematics to identify additional CDIL products that could be integrated into their design, supporting cross-selling initiatives.

New Product Applications: Work with the sales team to find potential applications for newly developed products, helping to introduce them to the market effectively.

• Collaborate with internal teams to customize semiconductor products or solutions based on customer-specific requirements.
• Prepare and deliver technical documentation, including application notes, design guides, and technical references.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in a technical support or application engineering role within the semiconductor industry.
• Proven experience in designing, troubleshooting, and supporting semiconductor components.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor components, circuits, and systems.
• Ability to identify new applications for existing and new products.
• Experience in analyzing customer schematics to find cross-selling opportunities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer focus and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
