Job Description

Mission

Lead the Balance Sheet Reconciliation process for Calderys Group entities, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and timely resolution of risk items. Manage the BPO team and partner with regional finance and controllers to deliver accurate, high-quality reconciliations in line with Group accounting policies and internal control standards. Drive standardization, process improvement, and strong balance sheet governance across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the balance sheet of local entities and drive discussions regarding the quality and resolution of risk items.
  • Manage BPO in delivery of quality Balance Sheet Reconciliation in line with the Calderys policies
  • Highlight any issues and risks early to drive discussions with appropriate stakeholders preventing write-offs or unexpected P&L impact.
  • Review the documentation for month-end control process, ensuring full compliance with Calderys requirements. Support control remediation where required.
  • Coordinate production of analyses, schedules and summaries for entity Financial Controllers and Directors, including monthly governance and risk management forum
  • Ensure that accruals and prepayments are managed and documented appropriately.
  • Coordinate audit deliverables as required.
  • Drive standardization and improvements in area of Balance Sheet Process
  • Maintenance of the ARCS system

Requirements

  • Qualification (CA/MBA or equivalent) or advanced level in career.
  • Experience in similar role for at least 7 years.
  • SAP or major ERP experience including Balance Sheet Management Software
  • Experience managing BPO organisation in delivering Balance Sheet Management
  • Good organizational skills, ability to manage workload to ensure all key deadlines are met.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Problem solving and a growth and enterprise mindset.

However, if you have the following, it would be a plus:

  • Excel skills at advanced level, some experience of predictive analysis
  • Experience working in Finance/Controllership or accounting areas.
  • Global Process Owner experience
  • Implementation of systems and processes
