Skills: Technical Skills: • Proficiency in grinding, cutting, and finishing techniques. • Ability to operate fettling equipment, grinders, and hand tools. • Knowledge of casting defects and finishing methods. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions. • Proficiency in using measuring tools and inspection equipment. Key accountabilities: • Perform fettling, grinding, cutting, and finishing of cast components. • Remove excess material, flash, burrs, and surface defects from castings. • Inspect finished components to ensure compliance with quality specifications. • Operate and maintain fettling equipment and hand tools safely. • Read and follow work instructions, technical drawings, and quality requirements. • Report defects, equipment issues, and non-conformities to the supervisor. • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards. • Comply with company health, safety, and environmental policies.
