Eligibility
Ph.D. in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry.
M.Sc. Biotechnology/Biochemistry with at least 3 years of work experience.

About The Role
Primer designing, genetic circuit construction, genome editing via homologous recombination and CRISPR/ Cas9 technology. Fungal genome isolation, PCR amplification, restriction digestion, ligation independent cloning. in- silico promoter modification tools, promoter engineering, high throughput screening of transformants via microplate reader, protoplast mediated transformation.
Responsibilities
To report to the CEO on the following tasks
- Design of genetic level cloning trials in bacteria and fungus and technical troubleshooting.
- Lead a team of 3-4 research assistants/interns.
- Assisting in standard laboratory operations, purchase and ensuring proper use of equipment's/instruments.
- Assisting in patent drafting/project report and PPT preparation/maintaining experimental documentation.
- Participation/travel to various business and technical events.
Candidate requirements
- Applicants with doctorate in Biotechnology/biochemistry with first author peer reviewed scientific publications involving molecular cloning and CRISPR tech will be preferred.
- Hands on experience involving molecular cloning of fungus is highly desirable.
- Highly organized, strong communication skills and ability to work in a team and coordinate with team members.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
