Role Description

This is a full-time, 12-month, starting as soon as possible, on-site Fellowship in Shoulder & Elbow Surgery based in Nagpur under the tutelage of Dr. Vishal Sahni, Consultant Shoulder & Elbow Surgeon. The Fellow will work closely with Dr. Vishal Sahni & other senior surgeons to perform and assist in complex shoulder and elbow surgical procedures. Responsibilities include assessing and managing patients preoperatively and postoperatively, conducting diagnostic evaluations, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, engaging in research activities, and contributing to education initiatives within the clinic. The Fellow will also get exposure in networking & practice development, which will help them in setting up their own practice later. The role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and advanced training in a specialized orthopaedic field. The Fellowship also incorporates a short period of Observership in the UK under reputed UK Shoulder & Elbow Consultants.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of orthopaedic surgery with a focus on shoulder and elbow procedures
• Proficiency in patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and postoperative care
• Ability to perform and assist in surgeries with a commitment to precision and high standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team
• Experience in research, clinical conferences, or teaching is a plus
• Completion of accredited medical degrees (MBBS and D Orth or MS Orth) and relevant orthopaedic training
• Valid medical practice license and readiness to work onsite in Nagpur
• Passion for continuous learning and dedication to improving patient outcomes
