(2 years contract, with potential for full-time role)

We are seeking 56 experiences to manage and lead fellowship teams across Karnataka. Fellowship Associate will oversee fellows who work closely with government stakeholders and emerging leaders within the menstrual health and hygiene (MHH) ecosystem.

You will be responsible for motivating, mentoring, and engaging fellows in alignment with the organisation's strategic goals, while ensuring high-quality program delivery. This includes proactively addressing field-level challenges, building the capacity of team members, and fostering a culture of reflection, learning and creative problem-solving.

This is a highly collaborative role that requires nurturing strong, trust-based relationships with government stakeholders, partner organisations, and frontline workers, contributing to the development of a supportive and sustainable ecosystem for menstrual health across the region.

Typical day for fellowship Manager looks like:

  1. Fellowship Leadership & Mentorship:
  2. Mentor Period Fellows across the 24-month fellowship, fostering ownership, autonomy, strong cohort culture, and effective team dynamics.
  3. Measuring the impact of the fellowship programme
  4. Training & Capacity Building - Organise and facilitate training/bootcamps and provide ongoing coaching on MHH, leadership, communication, and operations.
  5. Program Implementation & Field Monitoring - Ensure timely achievement of outreach and program targets through regular (planned and surprise) field visits, quality monitoring, and on-ground feedback.
  6. Stakeholder & Partnership Management - Build and sustain strong relationships with District Govt Officials, NGOs, schools, and frontline workers; represent the organisation in district and state-level forums.
  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  8. Work closely with Design, Governance government, and operations teams to resolve field challenges, gaps and strengthen implementation strategies.
  9. Attend and participate in skill-building calls and sessions.
  10. Process, Compliance & Reporting -
  11. Ensure fellow adhere and work towards organisational processes, quality and guidelines.
  12. Share ground learnings and findings as per M&E format with teams.
  13. Ensuring comprehensive documentation of the programme activities and filing of reports as required for Compliance and external reporting purposes

Who you are:

  1. Passionate about gender equity and menstrual health.
  2. 5+ years experience building and leading teams; fulfilled in seeing their team members rise up and shine
  3. Fluent in spoken and written English; spoken Kannada
  4. Data driven with excellent documentation skills; ability to analyse and share key insights with the larger team
  5. Experience in managing/designing fellowships would be advantageous
  6. Designs outcome-oriented plans and facilitates adult learning
  7. Strong health ecosystem knowledge + good computer/MS Office skills
  8. Emotionally mature, resilient team player who thrives in ambiguity
  9. Exceptional field communicator and instinctive problem-solver
  10. Highly organized, empathetic leader who shapes motivating team culture
