FEA Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete liner/nonlinear Finite Element Models of complex structures and systems
• Solve coupled thermal and stress analysis for complex systems
• Modal analysis of frame and support structures
• Work with engineers from various Business Units to solve thermal, structural and vibrational problems and then proposes appropriate design solutions
• Write reports to summarize modeling activity and presents to BU engineers as necessary

Mandatory Skills required to perform the job:

• Finite Element modeling using commercial packages like Abaqus, Ansys
• Experience to solve complex physics/geometry problems and determine appropriate actions
• Proficiency using analytical approach to solve simple problems and validating analysis results using analytical approach.
• Design experiments which will be used to validate and improve model accuracy

Desirable Skill:

• Use of Modeling tools, particularly Abaqus CAE/Standard or Ansys
• Knowledge of Semiconductor manufacturing process.
