The Role

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer / Developer who combines strong hands-on engineering skills with the ability to engage directly with enterprise customers. You will be embedded with Fortune 500 technical teams, writing code to solve their hardest problems, building integrations, and participating in customer-facing technical conversations that turn complex requirements into real solutions.

You bring deep technical expertise alongside a genuine ability to empathise with customers, understand their business challenges, and apply AI to solve problems that improve how they operate. You are as comfortable building a working integration as you are explaining it to a customer's engineering team and adapting quickly based on their feedback.

Based out of our Hyderabad offices, you will collaborate with implementation teams across the US and remote geographies, coordinating across time zones to support successful enterprise deployments end-to-end.

What You Will Do

  • Solve Hard Problems at Scale: Work directly with enterprise customers to understand their most complex technical challenges, integration bottlenecks, scaling constraints, multi-system orchestration, and architect solutions from the ground up.
  • Hands-On Integration and Engineering: Build integrations connecting the Kore.ai platform to enterprise systems such as CRMs, ERPs, contact centers, and communication tools. Own your code end-to-end, from prototype through production, optimizing for performance, reliability, and scale.
  • Customer Technical Engagement: Participate in customer-facing technical sessions, requirements workshops, and integration reviews alongside Technical Leads. Understand the customer's business problem first, then build the right solution for it.
  • Proof-of-Concept Development: Rapidly build working PoCs and demos that demonstrate how AI can solve a specific customer challenge. Translate a vague requirement into a working system that the customer can see and react to.
  • Debug and Improve: Own production issues end-to-end, diagnose root causes, resolve integration failures, and continuously improve the performance and reliability of deployed solutions.
  • Scale What Works: Document what you build, create reusable components and integration patterns, and contribute to a growing library of technical assets that help the broader team move faster.
  • Feed Product Insights: Surface recurring customer integration challenges and platform gaps with clear, well-documented observations from the field that help shape the product roadmap.

What We Are Looking For

Must Have

  • 2-6 years of hands-on engineering experience in enterprise software, platform engineering, or solutions engineering, with a proven track record of solving complex customer problems through hands-on technical delivery.
  • Hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLM-based development, including RAG implementations, prompt engineering, and agentic AI applications. Familiarity with multi-agent orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or the Kore.ai Agent Platform.
  • Familiarity with LLM guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and responsible AI controls, implementing safety, content filtering, and output validation in enterprise deployments. Exposure to MCP servers and tool-use patterns for connecting LLMs to external data sources and APIs.
  • Hands-on technical proficiency across APIs, microservices, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), distributed systems, enterprise integration patterns, and complex system integrations connecting enterprise platforms, contact centers, CRMs, ERPs, and communication systems at scale.
  • Experience working with enterprise customers, communicating technical concepts clearly to engineering teams and stakeholders, and building credibility through delivery. Ability to understand a customer's business problem, ask the right questions, and translate requirements into working solutions.

Strong Plus

  • Expertise in Voice AI, IVR modernization, STT/TTS pipelines, or enterprise telephony integrations (SIP/WebRTC).
  • Prior experience in a solutions engineering, professional services, or field engineering role at an enterprise software company.
  • Familiarity with the Kore.ai platform or similar conversational/agentic AI platforms.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
  • Master's degree or equivalent depth of expertise preferred but not required — we value demonstrated capability over credentials.
