As a Fault Management Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying, optimizing, and maintaining Voice over LTE (VoLTE) networks. A deep understanding of VoLTE architecture, IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem), SIP signaling, and network performance optimization is essential. You will also be responsible for adhering to agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- You will manage faults, ensuring error-free operation of IMS and Cloud networks, specifically within the VoLTE, Cloud, and UDM domains.
- You will possess comprehensive troubleshooting skills, analyzing and resolving complex issues related to SIP signaling, call flows, and IMS/UDM components (Ausf, ZTS, EIR).
- You will be prioritizing performance optimization, working on fault tickets and implementing corrective actions within agreed SLAs to maintain optimal network performance.
- Adapt at incident management, diagnosing and resolving VoLTE-related network issues, collaborating effectively with market and operations teams to minimize service disruptions.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You have:
- Bachelor's degree with 6+ Years in the Telecommunications.
- Expertise with SBC (Session Border Controller), TAS (Telephony Application Server), CFX (Call Flow eXchange), and OpenShift Cloud.
- Experience in VoLTE Call Flow Analysis and Troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated Proficiency with SDM Nodes (NT-HLR, One-NDS, HSS, MNP, PGW, EIR, UDM-AUSF, 5G EIR, vHLR).
It would be nice if you also had:
- Possessing a good understanding of VoLTE architecture, including IMS, SIP, RTP, and Diameter protocols, with knowledge in OpenShift Cloud and UDM nodes like Ausf/ZTS/EIR.
