Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated
FastAPI Developer Intern to join our backend team. This role is designed for someone who is passionate about high-performance Python frameworks and eager to contribute to real-world, scalable applications. You will work on building robust APIs that power our green tech solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- API Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
- Asynchronous Programming: Implement async-first logic to ensure efficient data processing and low latency.
- Database Management: Work with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and integrate ORMs like SQLAlchemy or Tortoise.
- Integration: Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Security: Implement OAuth2, JWT authentication, and secure data validation using Pydantic models.
- Optimization: Debug, test (using Pytest), and optimize code for maximum speed and scalability.
Requirements- Total Experience: 7 months
- Technical Skills: * Strong proficiency in Python 3.10+.
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI and Pydantic.
- Basic understanding of Docker and Git version control.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available for a 6-month post full-time commitment.
- Work Style: Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative office environment in Salem.
Terms of Internship
- Probation: The first 1 month is a strict probationary period to evaluate technical fit and performance.
- Work Model: Strictly Work From Office (WFO).
- Certification: Upon successful completion of the 6-month tenure, interns will receive an Internship Certificate and a Letter of Recommendation (LOR) based on performance.
