The Indian Garage Co is one of India's fastest-growing D2C menswear brands, redefining everyday fashion with bold, contemporary styles rooted in Indian sensibilities. As we scale our creative efforts, we're looking for a talented Fashion Stylist to join our in-house brand studio. This role is ideal for someone who's equal parts creative and collaborative, with a solid grasp on both styling and studio operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop style boards, lookbooks, and pose references for campaign and catalog shoots.
- Style looks for e-commerce (model, flat lay, mannequin) and brand/editorial campaigns.
- Direct models on set with confident pose guidance and movement suggestions.
- Collaborate closely with the Studio Manager to plan, schedule, and execute shoots smoothly.
- Source and organize garments, accessories, and styling props as per creative briefs.
- Maintain styling wardrobe, props inventory, and ensure shoot-day readiness.
- Support day-to-day studio operationsfrom prepping for shoots to post-shoot cleanups and handovers.
- Contribute to creative ideation, visual research, and trend scouting.
- Work closely with photographers, art directors, designers, and production teams.
- Work with speed and efficiency to meet daily styling targets without compromising quality.
Requirements:
- Graduate from NIFT or a reputed fashion institute with specialization in Styling, Fashion Communication, or Design.
- 23 years of styling experience in an e-commerce studio and on brand campaigns.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating your styling sensibility across formats (catalog, campaign, editorial).
- Knowledge of current fashion trends, silhouettes, fabrics, and styling techniques.
- Experience with pose referencing, visual direction, and look development.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced studio environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, especially when working with studio and production teams.
- Ability to maintain styling quality while working quickly to meet shoot-day targets.
