Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fashion Stylist role based in Surat. The Fashion Stylist will curate looks from the Dhoop Chāav collection, providing personalized styling advice to customers in-store and during special events. Responsibilities include understanding customer preferences, suggesting suitable outfits and accessories, and creating wardrobe solutions that reflect the brand's modern-ethnic aesthetic. The role involves maintaining visual standards on the shop floor, coordinating with the sales team to drive conversions, and supporting product shoots or lookbooks as needed. The Fashion Stylist will also gather customer feedback, share styling trends with the team, and ensure a welcoming, inclusive experience for every visitor.
Qualifications
- Strong Fashion Styling and wardrobe coordination skills, with an eye for color, fit, and current trends.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to understand needs, explain styling choices, and build long-term relationships.
- Sales aptitude with the ability to recommend products, cross-sell looks, and support in-store sales goals.
- Attention to detail in outfit curation, garment care, and visual merchandising.
- Previous experience in fashion retail, styling, or personal shopping is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Surat, including weekends or peak seasons as required.
- Basic understanding of ethnic and fusion wear; familiarity with Indian textiles and silhouettes is a plus.
- Diploma or degree in Fashion, Design, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory if supported by relevant experience.
