Job Description

Job Title: Fashion Retail Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategy: Engage with global customers across Americas, Europe, Middle East & India with our business development teams in lead generation, prospecting, in-person meetings, solution demonstrations, business needs understanding and participate in sales cycle for successful conversions
  • Identify process, technology & data gaps and define to-be processes to address & create digital transformation roadmaps to analyse & improve product development, marketing, supply chain, manufacturing and distribution performances of Fashion Retail organizations
  • Understand client/prospect/ market needs and liaise with internal Pre-sales, Marketing & Service lines to build capabilities, collaterals, solution decks & demos
  • Fashion Retail Account & Practice Development - Demonstrate thought leadership & Build industry specific case studies, white papers, Point of view documents for sales enablement and capability demonstration in Industry forums as well as prospects
  • Engage with Internal teams to be the custodian for all Fashion Retail engagements
  • Understand and keep pace with Industry best practices in Fashion Retail space demonstrating industry progress awareness

Implementation:

  • Responsible for delivering consulting engagements across Fashion Retail process areas with emphasis on Customer Engagement, Commerce Platforms, Product Lifecycle Management, Trade Marketing, B2B Commerce & Supply chain.
  • Liaise with Internal and project teams to formulate project plans as well as manage client expectations on deliverables, timelines and commercials
  • Engage with Client business & IT stakeholders to understand requirements, engage with delivery teams to ensure transition as well as deliverables as per expectations
  • Drive and participate in change or transformation programs in any of the previous roles with ability to understand and program manage similar programs
  • Engage with leading software product providers and analysts to keep abreast of industry trends.

  • Capability building and GTM: Lead and Participate in Internal capability build investments in any of the areas of Commerce Platforms, Product Information Platforms, Customer Engagement, Supply Chain Design & Execution, Product Lifecycle Management, Merchandizing & Assortment Management, Stores Management.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Advisory, Data Science and Generative AI
  • Assemble internal teams for capability build engagements, liaise with internal service line stakeholders to align capabilities with needs, engage with sales and pre-sales teams on market feedback as well as ensure capability build deliverables are met as per expectations
  • Champion internal capability build Go-to-Market activities for market interface, initial proof of concept delivery as well as manage engagement deliveries for first few engagements
  • Plan and execute global GTM for new capabilities

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • MBA or equivalent with 10 to 15 years of experience in Fashion Retail industry in consulting or industry role
  • Strong credentials in NPD/Consumer process/Supply Chain/Trade Marketing facing functions of Alco-Bev Industries either in business management or in consulting firms.
  • Experience should ideally be a mix of business roles in Fashion Retail (AFS)firms as well as Consulting roles in Global IT services firms.
  • Strong Client facing skills and should have worked with Global customers
  • Experience in leading digital enablement teams for Retail industry solutions in NPD/Consumer Intimacy/Marketing/Supply Chain/Process manufacturing. Ability to interpret business objectives and digital strategy to proactively identify issues and opportunities.
  • Understand technology fundamentals, including architectures, data modelling & development lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal skills, & ability to do Market Research in the space.
  • Proven collaboration ability across multiple teams, geographies and service lines
  • Preferable experience engaging with Client or Prospect senior executives to position ITC Infotech's solutions & services
  • Possesses business written & verbal communication skills that resonate with prospects and clients as well as position ITC Infotech's brand in Fashion Retail industry.
