Role Description
Truzee is building a modern, made-to-order Indian ethnicwear brand with a strong focus on quality, execution, and production excellence. We're looking for a Fashion Production Designer who can confidently bridge design intent and on-ground production.
What You'll Do
- Understand design briefs and convert them into clear, production-ready inputs (construction details, measurements, fabric & trim specifications, embroidery placements)
- Own sampling, fit trials, corrections, and pilot approvals
- Source fabrics, trims, embellishments, and production inputs required for each style
- Coordinate closely with tailoring and embroidery units to ensure accurate execution
- Track timelines and proactively resolve production issues
- Maintain high standards of quality across stitching, fit, embroidery, and finishing
- Support documentation of SOPs, quality checklists, & production templates
- Contribute to production and factory setup as Truzee scales
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on production experience in Indian ethnicwear
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and embroidery techniques
- Experience sourcing fabrics and production materials from local markets and vendors
- On-ground experience working with tailoring units and embroidery vendors
- Ability to balance design intent with production feasibility
- Detail-oriented, execution-focused, and comfortable taking ownership
