Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fashion Merchandiser, located in Mumbai. The Fashion Merchandiser will be responsible for product selection, trends analysis, inventory planning, vendor communication, and managing the merchandising process. The candidate will collaborate with design, sales, and production teams to ensure alignment with market demands and company objectives, while keeping up-to-date with the latest fashion trends and customer preferences to make informed decisions about stock and product strategies.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of product selection, trend forecasting, and inventory planning
• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and coordinate with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in data analysis and creating merchandising reports
• Knowledge of fashion industry trends, materials, and consumer preferences
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with strong analytical thinking
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field
• Previous experience in fashion merchandising or retail is beneficial
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as Excel or inventory management systems, is an advantage
