About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning product assortments, analyzing fashion trends, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring the right products reach the right customers at the right time.
This role requires a strong understanding of market trends, sourcing, pricing strategies, and inventory planning while working closely with design, sales, and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Research current fashion trends, customer preferences, and competitor products
- Develop seasonal product assortments and merchandising strategies
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and buyers regarding product development
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock movement
- Analyze sales performance and recommend improvements
- Ensure product pricing aligns with market trends and profitability goals
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams for promotions and launches
- Maintain product quality and consistency across collections
- Prepare reports on sales forecasts, margins, and inventory performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Management, Business, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in fashion merchandising or retail merchandising
- Strong knowledge of fashion trends and garment production
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and merchandising software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
