Fashion Designer

We are looking for a Menswear designer with strong retail experience and a clear understanding of the end-to-end design process — from market research and concept development to range planning, sourcing, and execution. The candidate should be articulate, process-driven, and comfortable coordinating cross-functionally with buying, sourcing, and vendor teams to ensure timely and commercially viable product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct seasonal market research, trend analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
• Develop design concepts aligned with brand vision and seasonal direction.
• Lead range planning with a strong understanding of price architecture and retail strategy.
• Work closely with buying and merchandising teams to ensure commercial relevance.
• Coordinate with sourcing teams and vendors for fabric, trims, and product development.
• Manage vendor communication and follow-ups through sampling to production.
• Create detailed tech packs, specifications, and production-ready documentation.
• Design across woven and knit categories with strong product understanding.
• Monitor sampling, fittings, and product refinement through the development cycle.
• Ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.

Key Skills & Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant menswear retail design experience. (Specialised in Knit)
• Strong knowledge of design process, sourcing cycles, and garment construction.
• Hands-on experience with range building and seasonal calendars.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in design and presentation tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
• Strong understanding of fabric, fit, and silhouette development, illustration, embroidery, and knitting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
