We are expanding our team and looking for a Fashion Designer cum Sales Merchandiser who can seamlessly blend creativity with commercial understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Responsibilities
- Develop and conceptualize original fashion designs aligned with current trends and brand identity.
- Create mood boards, design sketches, and tech packs for production.
- Use tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and CLO 3D (or similar 3D garment software) to visualize designs.
- Conduct fabric research and selection based on trends, seasons, and customer demand.
- Participate in fittings and make necessary design refinements.
- Ensure design feasibility in coordination with production teams.
Sales Merchandising Responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales and merchandising team to align designs with market demand and sales performance.
- Analyze sell-through, customer preferences, and sales trends to support future collections.
- Assist in product planning, range building, and pricing strategy.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams for timely execution of orders.
- Support inventory planning and ensure availability of fast-moving styles.
- Communicate product details effectively for sales presentations and cataloging.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fashion Design or related field.
- 12 years of experience in Fashion Design and/or Merchandising.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and CLO 3D (or similar tools).
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, textiles, garment construction, and fit.
- Good understanding of fashion retail, customer behavior, and sales trends.
- Strong visual, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in 3:30 PM 12:30 AM shift, Monday to Saturday.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Noida, Sector 88.
- Cab facility provided for drop.
