Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fashion Designer role based in Ahmedabad. The Fashion Designer will conceptualize and develop garment designs, create sketches and technical drawings, and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments. Daily responsibilities include overseeing fittings, coordinating with tailors and embroidery artisans, ensuring quality and consistency in finished pieces, and refining designs based on client feedback. The role also involves staying updated with current fashion trends, organizing samples and lookbooks, and managing timelines from design to final delivery.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Fashion Design and Fashion skills, including concept development and garment construction understanding.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Textiles and Embroidery, with the ability to select and combine materials and decorative techniques effectively.
• Candidates should possess skills in Fitting and garment adjustments to achieve accurate sizing and a refined final look.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Fashion Design or a related field are beneficial.
• Additional beneficial skills include illustration or CAD design, knowledge of local and global fashion trends, and effective communication with clients and production teams.
