Fashion Designer – Womenswear

Roslyn by Demi is looking for a passionate, trend-forward Fashion Designer (Full time / Freelancer) who understands Gen Z fashion, aesthetics, and culture deeply. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the complete product lifecycle — from concept creation to final production.

Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Design original and trend-relevant womenswear collections aligned with the Roslyn aesthetic and Gen Z fashion trends

•⁠ ⁠Conduct regular trend research and market analysis to identify upcoming styles, silhouettes, fabrics, and color stories

•⁠ ⁠Develop mood boards, concepts, sketches, and detailed tech packs for new collections

•⁠ ⁠Manage the complete lifecycle of a product from ideation to final output

•⁠ ⁠Source fabrics, trims, and materials from vendors while ensuring quality and cost efficiency

•⁠ ⁠Coordinate and negotiate with fabric vendors and suppliers to achieve the best pricing and margins

•⁠ ⁠Ensure all products are developed within target budgets while maintaining premium design quality

•⁠ ⁠Oversee sampling, fittings, corrections, and final garment development

•⁠ ⁠Work closely with tailors and production teams to clearly communicate designs and construction details

•⁠ ⁠Monitor garment finishing, fit, quality checks, and overall execution before final production

•⁠ ⁠Maintain strong attention to detail across fabrics, stitching, fit, trims, and finishing

•⁠ ⁠Stay updated with social media, runway, streetwear, and global fashion trends relevant to the Roslyn customer

Requirements

•⁠ ⁠Minimum 3 years of experience in womenswear fashion design

•⁠ ⁠Strong understanding of Gen Z and contemporary fashion trends

•⁠ ⁠Experience in fabric sourcing, sampling, and production coordination

•⁠ ⁠Knowledge of garment construction, fits, and manufacturing processes

•⁠ ⁠Strong communication and vendor management skills

•⁠ ⁠Ability to balance creativity with commercial viability and margins

•⁠ ⁠Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive

•⁠ ⁠Someone who genuinely loves fashion and wants to build a fast-growing brand
