Responsibilities:
- Create and develop innovative designs and collections in line with Primewear's brand aesthetic and market trends.
- Stay updated on current fashion trends, conducting trend research and analysis to inform design decisions.
- Produce sketches, mood boards, and prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively.
- Work collaboratively with the design team, contributing creative ideas and concepts.
- Source and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials for designs while considering quality and cost-effectiveness (merchandising)
Qualifications:
- A degree or certification in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and sketching abilities to communicate ideas effectively.
- Strong awareness and understanding of current fashion trends and consumer preferences.
- A keen eye for aesthetics, creativity, and the ability to think outside the box.
- Strong attention to detail, especially concerning design elements and quality.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team.
- Ability to work part-time hours and adapt to evolving design requirements and timelines.
