Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fashion Designer located in Ahmedabad. The Fashion Designer will be responsible for creating innovative and culturally inspired designs, overseeing garment fittings, collaborating with artisans on embroidery work, and sourcing and selecting high-quality textiles. The role requires ensuring that designs align with the brand's mission of conscious fashion and promoting traditional Indian craftsmanship. Monitoring and Maintaining fabric stock and all other necessary items for fulfilment of designs required. You are supposed to ensure production targets are achieved within the given timeline and keep the artisans and all the team members motivated to achieve the same.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Fashion Design and a strong sense of aesthetics in creating unique designs
  • Knowledge of Embroidery techniques and the ability to collaborate with artisans
  • Experience with garment Fitting to ensure the perfect execution of designs
  • Understanding and selection of high-quality Textiles for design and production
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site setting
  • Passion for sustainable and ethical fashion is advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field is preferred
