Primary Job Title: Fashion Designer
About The Opportunity
A creative role in the Fashion & Apparel design sector serving design-to-production apparel brands and retail channels. This on-site position (India) suits both freshers and experienced designers who want hands-on exposure to seasonal collection development, sample room workflows, and production handoffs in a fast-paced studio environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conceptualise and develop seasonal womenswear/men's/children's apparel concepts through sketches, moodboards, and color stories.
- Create technical flats, detailed tech-packs, and BOMs to communicate design intent to pattern-makers and suppliers.
- Translate design sketches into patterns and oversee sample development, conduct fit sessions, and refine garments for production.
- Source fabrics, trims, and findings; collaborate with vendors to ensure material suitability, costing, and timelines.
- Maintain design documentationsize specs, grading notes, quality checkpointsand support production handover.
- Monitor trend forecasts and market references to ensure collections remain commercially relevant and on-brand.

Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or equivalent (freshers with strong portfolios welcome).
- Portfolio demonstrating original design concepts, technical flats, and at least one end-to-end sample or garment (required).
- Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, and garment fit; willingness to work on the production floor and in sample rooms.
