Position Overview:
We seek a Fashion & Fabric Designer Intern to join our founding creative team at Feydor. This dynamic role combines fashion and textile design, allowing you to explore everything from silhouettes and garment structures to textures, surface design, and prints. As an integral part of a newly launched brand, you will have significant creative freedom to express your ideas, experiment with design concepts, and contribute to the visual identity of Feydor's debut collections. You will work hands-on with materials, sketches, and sampling in a collaborative and supportive environment where originality and innovation are highly encouraged.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in designing original apparel pieces aligned with Feydor's brand identity.
Research and develop unique fabric concepts, surface textures, and print ideas.
Create mood boards, digital illustrations, colour palettes, and technical sketches.
Support in sourcing materials, selecting textiles, and liaising with vendors.
Assist in garment construction planning, sampling, and fitting processes.
Collaborate on photoshoots, lookbooks, and visual merchandising concepts.
Stay up-to-date with fashion and fabric trends to inspire design decisions.
Contribute ideas actively in a creative, fast-moving startup environment.
Candidate Profile:
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree/diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
Passionate about both garment design and fabric innovation.
Familiar with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other relevant design tools.
Creative, self-motivated, and eager to take initiative in a startup setting.
Strong attention to detail and a good sense of colour, form, and fabric behaviour.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
