Fashion Designer

We are a women western wear brand and are looking for a fashion designer freelancer who can come to our unit 2-3 times a week.

Role Description

As a freelance fashion designer for a women's western wear brand, you will be responsible for creating innovative and stylish clothing designs that cater to the brand's aesthetic and target audience. Your designs should reflect current fashion trends while incorporating the brand's unique style and flair.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop original and creative designs for women's western wear, including sketches, technical drawings, and prototypes.

2. Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends, fabrics, and textiles to ensure designs are current and relevant.

3. Ensure designs align with the brand's style, quality, and aesthetic.

4. Work closely with the brand's design team, production team, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless design execution.

5. Adapt designs to fit various production requirements, such as fabric constraints or manufacturing capabilities

Qualifications

1. Degree or diploma in Fashion Design or related field.

2. Proven experience in fashion design, preferably in women's Western wear or similar genre.

3. Strong sketching, drawing, and illustration skills, as well as proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).

4. Understanding of various fabrics, textures, and materials used in women's Western wear.

5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the brand's team.

6. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

7. Strong creative vision and ability to think outside the box.
