Job Title: Fashion Studies Teacher
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field, along with a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification from a recognized institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Fashion Studies to senior secondary students as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Deliver engaging theory and practical sessions on fashion design, textiles, and garment construction.
- Guide students in fashion illustration, fabric knowledge, pattern making, and garment development.
- Supervise and manage fashion lab/workshop activities, ensuring safe use of tools, machines, and materials.
- Mentor students in creative projects, portfolios, and design exhibitions.
- Assess students through assignments, practical work, and evaluations.
- Encourage participation in fashion competitions, exhibitions, and showcases.
- Stay updated with the latest fashion trends, textile innovations, and industry practices.
Experience:
- 13 years of teaching or industry experience in Fashion Design / Textile Design preferred.
