Fashion designer cum merchandiser

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fashion Designer cum Merchandiser located in Tiruppur. The Fashion Designer cum Merchandiser will be responsible for creating and executing fashion designs, developing embroidery patterns, ensuring proper fitting of garments, and coordinating textile choices. Day-to-day tasks include sketching designs, selecting fabrics, overseeing production, collaborating with production teams, and staying updated with fashion trends.

Qualifications

• Fashion Design and Trend Analysis skills
• Experience in Embroidery and Textile selection
• Proficiency in ensuring accurate Fitting and Garment construction
• Strong attention to detail and creativity
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in the fashion industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
