Role Description

The Fashion Design Intern at Darshé will work closely with the Creative Director and the other teammates to bring the brand's creative vision to life. This role offers hands-on exposure to the fashion design process, from concept development and fabric sourcing to sample creation, fittings, and collection development. The intern will assist with fashion illustrations, mood boards, colour stories, design presentations, and organising fabrics and trims. They will also work alongside the tailor during garment construction and sample development, helping translate design concepts into finished pieces and understand the technical aspects of garment making. Additional responsibilities include styling for photoshoots, coordinating visual assets, and maintaining design records. This is an opportunity for a creative and motivated fresher to gain practical experience and grow within an emerging contemporary luxury womenswear brand.

Qualifications
* A recent graduate or final-year student pursuing a degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a relat
ed field.
* Basic understanding of fashion illustration, garment construction, silhouettes, and design development.
* Familiarity with textiles, fabric properties, and basic sewing techniques.
* A good eye for colour, styling, proportions, and aesthetics, with a willingness to explore new ideas.
* Basic knowledge of creating mood boards, design presentations, and visual references.
* Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, or similar design tools is an advantage.
* Willingness to assist with fabric sourcing, sample development, fittings, photoshoots, and day-to-day design activities.
* Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a willingness to learn.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a small, fast-paced creative team and meet assigned deadlines.
* Willingness to work on-site in Bengaluru.

Internship Details
* Location: Bilekahalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka (On-site)
* Stipend: 7,000–8,000 per month
* Duration: 3–6 months
