Job Summary
The Fashion Consultant is responsible for delivering an exceptional in-store customer experience by understanding customer preferences, offering styling advice, and driving apparel sales. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and building long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Experience
- Greet customers and understand their fashion needs, preferences, and occasions.
- Recommend suitable apparel, accessories, and styling options to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets, including upselling and cross-selling.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and exchanges professionally.
Product Knowledge & Styling
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of current collections, fabrics, fits, trends, and pricing.
- Provide personalized styling advice based on body type, occasion, and fashion trends.
- Promote ongoing offers, loyalty programs, and seasonal collections.
Store Operations
- Ensure proper merchandise display as per visual merchandising guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness, stock arrangement, and fitting room standards.
- Assist in stock replenishment, inventory checks, and stockroom coordination.
- Support billing and cash counter operations when required.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with repeat customers to increase footfall and loyalty.
- Capture customer feedback and share insights with the store team.
- Maintain customer data for follow-ups and promotions.
