SKALY is an emerging women's ethniccontemporary brand seeking a hands-onFashion Designerto create our first collections from concept to finished product. You'll lead every stepperfect for a creative self-starter who loves end-to-end ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Concept Create seasonal themes and garment designs aligned with SKALY's aesthetic.
- Sketch & Pattern Prepare detailed sketches, technical drawings, and patterns for production; create tech packs and send them to manufacturers.
- Fabric & Color Source fabrics and trims; develop cohesive color palettes with a focus on sustainability.
- Sampling & Fit Oversee sample making, conduct fit sessions, and refine until production-ready.
- Trend & Market Research Track fashion trends and customer preferences to keep designs relevant.
- Presentation & Launch Prep Build lookbooks and design notes for manufacturers and marketing use.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fashion Design (or strong equivalent portfolio).
- Proven experience in women's ethnic wear design, pattern making, and garment construction.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design tools.
- Strong eye for color, drape, fabrics, and contemporary ethnic styles.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning the full design cycle in a start-up setting.
