- Assist in land preparation, sowing, transplanting, irrigation, weeding, and harvesting
- Carry out intercultural operations as per instructions
- Support in application of fertilizers, manures, and plant protection measures
- Monitor crops for pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies and report observations
- Assist in nursery raising, seed treatment, and transplanting
- Maintain nursery infrastructure and plant health
- Operate and assist in maintenance of irrigation systems
- Ensure proper water management as per crop requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of farm areas, tools, and equipment
- Assist in basic repair and maintenance activities
- Assist in harvesting, grading, packing, and storage of produce
- Ensure minimal post-harvest losses
- Help maintain basic records of farm activities, inputs, and outputs
- Report daily work progress to the supervisor
- Assist in practical field demonstrations for students or visitors (if applicable)
