Position Title

Assistant Professor / Associate Professor

(Designation commensurate with qualifications and experience)

Area: Marketing / Finance / HR / OB / Strategy / Analytics / Economics / General Management

Role Overview

The role offers an opportunity to engage deeply with students, collaborate with research-active colleagues, contribute to Centres of Excellence, and participate in national and international academic networks.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

Design and deliver high-quality courses at the PGDM and doctoral levels.

Employ innovative, student-centred, and technology-enabled pedagogies (including responsible use of AI).

Develop rigorous assessments that evaluate higher-order thinking and applied learning.

Mentor students for academic excellence, research engagement, and professional readiness.

Research & Scholarship

Maintain an active research agenda aligned with recognised journals (ABDC / AJG / Scopus / WoS).

Publish high-quality scholarly work and contribute to FIIB's research ecosystem.

Participate in interdisciplinary research, funded projects, conferences, and academic networks.

Supervise doctoral scholars (for eligible faculty).

Institutional & Academic Service

Contribute to curriculum development, academic governance, and accreditation processes.

Engage with FIIB's Centres of Excellence, research forums, and outreach initiatives.

Support conferences, faculty development programmes, and academic partnerships.

Collaborate constructively with colleagues to strengthen the institution's academic culture.

Qualifications

Essential

Ph.D. in a relevant discipline from a recognised university.

Strong academic foundation and subject-matter expertise.

Demonstrated potential for quality teaching and research.

Desirable

Publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals.

Experience in doctoral supervision (for senior roles).

Exposure to interdisciplinary, applied, or industry-linked research.

International academic experience or collaborations.
