Role: Practitioner Faculty – Digital Transformation & AI in Business
Program: Executive Program in Strategy, Innovation & Leadership (SIL) and Leading with AI (LWAI)

About our management program
The SIL and LWAI programs are practitioner-led Executive Education Programs designed for mid–senior working executives from diverse functions and industries. Digital Transformation module is one of the important modules in these program(s), connecting strategy, technology and execution and helping participants think through how to transform their businesses using digital and AI.
What you will do
- Deliver 3–6 highly practical, virtual masterclasses (weekends on Zoom) to experienced mid–senior managers and leaders.
- Frame digital transformation in a clear business and strategy context – why, where and how organizations transform.
- Share real transformation journeys from your work:
- Before–after of key business processes and customer journeys
- Roadmap, architecture and operating model choices
- Execution challenges, stakeholder management, change management
- Business impact: revenue growth, cost reduction, productivity, risk, experience.
- Teach how to think about and deploy:
- Big data and analytics – data platforms, dashboards, decisioning
- IoT and connected operations – manufacturing, logistics, assets, field operations
- Automation and AI/GenAI – process automation, copilots, personalization, decision support.
- Help participants work through cost–benefit and ROI thinking:
- Framing business cases and value drivers
- Capex vs. Opex, pilot vs. scale, quick wins vs. long bets
- Managing vendor proposals, TCO, and benefits tracking.
- Guide build vs buy vs partner decisions:
- What to build in-house vs. outsource vs. co-create with partners
- When to use SaaS / platforms vs. custom solutions
- How to avoid lock-in and design for scalability.
- Contrast small, mid and large Indian businesses:
- Pragmatic digital and AI playbooks for different maturity and budgets
- How SMEs can leverage cloud, SaaS, and partner ecosystems
- Lessons from GCCs, BFSI, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, services, etc.
- Facilitate interactive discussions, exercises and Help participants map their own digital / AI opportunity areas
What we are looking for
- 15–20+ years of experience in consulting, industry, GCCs or entrepreneurial roles, with marquee experience in digital transformation.
- A strong track record of executing transformation programs across multiple clients / business units / industries – not just one-off pilots.
- Hands-on leadership of initiatives involving a mix of:
- Data platforms / big data / analytics
- Cloud, APIs, microservices, integration
- IoT / connected devices / smart operations
- Automation / RPA
- AI / ML / GenAI use cases in real business processes.
- Ability to translate technology into business language for non-technical executives: strategy, economics, risks, and change implications.
- Exposure to Indian business contexts – SMEs, mid-sized firms, large enterprises – across one or more sectors such as BFSI, manufacturing, consumer, retail, healthcare, logistics, GCCs.
- Comfort with interactive, case-based teaching – discussion, Q&A, whiteboarding – rather than only slide monologues.
- Prior teaching/training/executive education experience is a plus, but not mandatory if you have strong facilitation skills and are keen to teach.
Engagement model:
- Part-time, practitioner faculty role
- Virtual delivery on weekends (Zoom), 3–6 masterclasses of 2–4 hours each
- Interactive, cohort-based format – expected to use cases, examples, short group exercises, and live diagnostics
- Competitive honorarium per session, with scope for continued association on future cohorts and related modules.
Ideal faculty persona:
- A digital transformation partner / director / senior principal in a consulting firm
- Or a Chief Digital Officer / transformation head / BU leader who has led multi-year change
- Or a senior leader in a GCC/technology services firm who has driven large-scale digital and AI programs for global clients
- Or a founder / entrepreneur who has built and deployed scalable digital / AI solutions across clients.
Someone who:
- Enjoys teaching and mentoring working executives
- Is willing to share real case stories – including failures and hard lessons
- Can challenge and stretch participants, yet stay practical and implementation-focused.
