Position Overview
ATLAS SkillTech University invites applications for a faculty position in Marketing across its undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The University seeks individuals who combine academic rigor with industry relevance, and who are committed to delivering high-impact, experiential learning.
The ideal candidate will contribute to teaching excellence, curriculum innovation, research, and institutional development, while actively engaging with industry and fostering student success.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Academic Delivery
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in areas such as Digital Marketing, Search and Performance Management, E-commerce Marketing and Management, AdTech and MarTech, Marketing Analytics, Marketing Research, Tech Product Management, and Brand Management
- Employ case-based, technology-enabled, and experiential pedagogies to enhance learning outcomes, including but not limited to gamification, in-class and out-of-class field and market immersion, project showcase, etc
- Design, update, and continuously improve course curricula in alignment with global standards and industry needs
Industry Collaboration & Outreach
- Build and leverage industry connections to explore, facilitate and conduct live projects for students as a mandatory part of the academic delivery
- Ensure adequate industry and field immersion sessions for the students, which help students learn by observing and immersing themselves in the native consumer markets as well as corporate offices
- Explore and integrate industry mentoring and teaching, ensuring industry experts take masterclasses, workshops, and block-teaching or co-teaching for your respective courses
Student Engagement & Mentorship
- Mentor students on academic projects, internships, and career development
- Supervise capstone projects, dissertations, and research initiatives
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and intellectually stimulating classroom environment
Research & Thought Leadership
- Conduct high-quality research and publish in peer-reviewed journals and reputed conferences
- Contribute to the intellectual capital of the institution through white papers, case studies, and industry insights
Institutional Contribution
- Engage in program development, accreditation processes, and academic governance
- Contribute to committees, events, and broader institutional initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Marketing / Management
- MBA/PGDM with specialization in Marketing from a reputed institution
- NET/SET qualifications as per regulatory norms (if applicable)
Experience
- Assistant Professor: Early-career candidates with strong academic foundations and potential for research
- Associate Professor: Proven teaching excellence with a credible research track record
Relevant industry experience in domains such as digital marketing, brand strategy, analytics, or consulting will be an advantage.
