Position - Factory Maintenance Head
Location - Pachora, Maharashtra (Onsite)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically sound SeedFactory Maintenance Head with added responsibility for Solar Plant Maintenance, to lead and manage all maintenance functions for our seed processing facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance, utilities management, and solar power systems, ensuring minimum downtime and maximum operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plant & Equipment Maintenance
- Lead the maintenance team for all factory equipment (seed processing, packaging, compressors, boilers, etc.).
- Plan and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programs.
- Maintain up-to-date records of maintenance logs, equipment history, and downtime analysis.
2. Solar Plant Maintenance
- Oversee day-to-day maintenance of solar power infrastructure (rooftop or ground-mounted).
- Ensure optimal performance of solar systems through routine inspections, diagnostics, and performance analytics.
- Coordinate with solar EPC/O&M vendors for servicing and compliance requirements.
3. Utility Management
- Manage operations and maintenance of utilities (DG sets, chillers, air compressors)
- Ensure uninterrupted power and utility supply for production processes.
4. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, OSHA, and other regulatory standards.
- Drive safety-first culture; conduct safety audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
5. Team Leadership & Budgeting
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians, and solar maintenance personnel.
- Prepare annual maintenance budgets and manage costs effectively.
6. Projects & Upgrades
- Drive continuous improvement projects for energy savings, machine upgrades, and automation.
- Lead installation and commissioning of new equipment and plant expansion activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: 15–20 years in maintenance roles in agro-industries/seed/food processing sectors, with at least 3–5 years in solar maintenance.
- Experience in handling automated processing and packaging lines is essential.
- Strong knowledge of TPM, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, and other lean tools.
Skills Required:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent troubleshooting, planning, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of solar PV system performance analytics and remote monitoring tools.
