Factory Maintenance & Production Coordinator

The Factory Maintenance & Production Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that the overall factory environment, infrastructure, machinery, manpower productivity, and operational readiness are maintained at the highest standards. The role includes ownership of factory discipline, maintenance systems, contractor coordination, production tracking, and overall operational upkeep to ensure inspection readiness and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Factory Infrastructure & Look Management

• Ensure the factory remains organized, clean, and professionally maintained at all times.

• Identify areas requiring layout, storage, or workstation improvements.

• Maintain proper labeling, quality cards, and product identification systems.

• Keep the factory inspection-ready at all times.

2. Factory Maintenance (Inside & Outside)

• Oversee maintenance of flooring, walls, lighting, electrical systems, yard, roofing, and drainage.

• Implement preventive maintenance schedules.

• Ensure breakdown issues are addressed promptly.

3. Machinery & Equipment Maintenance

• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules for winding machines and material handling equipment.

• Ensure proper servicing, lubrication, and spare parts availability.

• Maintain maintenance logs and minimize downtime.

4. Agency & Contractor Management

• Coordinate with external agencies for construction, repairs, fabrication, and upgrades.

• Ensure timely completion and quality of work.

• Evaluate and recommend agencies when required.

5. Production Tracking & Labor Management • Assign daily work to labor workforce.

• Track daily production output and manpower utilization.

• Monitor attendance and leave records.

• Maintain daily production status reports.

6. Pre-Inspection Readiness

• Ensure products are properly tagged and prepared before inspections.

• Maintain discipline and organization during customer visits.

7. Upgradation & Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for modernization and productivity enhancement.

• Suggest automation and infrastructure improvements.

• Proactively propose improvements to management.

8. Cleaning & Housekeeping Responsibility

• Ensure overall factory cleanliness and structured housekeeping.

• Implement proper waste disposal and scrap segregation systems.

• Maintain yard and common areas. Required Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical / Production Engineering preferred.

• Some experience in factory maintenance or production supervision.

• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
