Job Description
- Manage all financial activities at the factory level, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with local and global financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Analyse production costs and identify areas for process improvement to enhance profitability.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and present findings to senior management.
- Collaborate with operational teams to track and optimise inventory levels and working capital.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Lead the preparation of annual audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
- Support strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and recommendations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Factory Financial Controller should have:
- Qualified Cost Accountant/CMA/ICWAI/CA with at least 7 years of work experience
- Proven experience in financial management within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and financial reporting requirements in India
