JOB DESCRIPTION

Briefs Content is looking for a detail-oriented Fact Checker to join our editorial team. In this role, you'll be the last line of defence for accuracy and credibility across our content, ensuring every story we publish is factually sound. If you have sharp eyes, strong logical reasoning and a passion for editorial integrity, we'd love to hear from you.

LOCATION: Delhi/NCR

We work with the very popular Inshorts application (one of the highest rated app on Google Play Store) that provides the most significant content of the day, across categories like national, world, politics, business, sports, technology, and entertainment in innovative format to its users.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Verify all facts, claims and statements within stories to ensure accuracy before publication

● Check the authenticity and accuracy of images used in shorts

● Making sure that any story is not repeated

● Support the growth and development of the editorial team while contributing to the broader goals of the company

REQUIRED SKILLS:

● Strong command over the English language

● Excellent grammar and proofreading skills

● Sharp eye for spotting errors, inconsistencies and inaccuracies

● Sound logical and analytical thinking

● General awareness
