Facility Maintenance & Monitoring for R&D Test Facilities

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare SOR for periodic maintenance of Test Facility/Utilities and to perform technical evaluation for competent supplier selection.
• Prepare Necessary documentation (Supplier Gate-pass, Safety check sheet, Work permits etc.)
• Coordinate with Facility Users and Supplier for execution of Periodic Maintenance and Calibration Activities.
• Maintain and troubleshoot test equipment & central utilities installed in R&D Identify faults, perform first‑level troubleshooting, escalate unresolved issues
• Ensure compliance with Safety and Audit requirements (e.g. ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).

Technical & Analytical Skills

• Basic understanding of Electrical Systems (Motors, Drives and Control Systems)
• Familiarity with PLC/SCADA systems
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI for Management reporting

Required Competencies

• Experience with Electrical Drives/PLC/SCADA/HMI
• Experience with operation and maintenance of Chassis / Engine Dynamometers, HVAC system, Electrical System and other central utilities, Emission Measurement Systems, Battery Emulators and other Automotive Test Facilities
• Understanding of Work Permit, KY Sheet, Lotto, Material Gatepass, Eway Bill, NDA, GR Waiver & Inco Terms.
• Effective communication, Team bonding, networking and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Mechatronics with minimum 60% marks. 35 years (Diploma Engineers) in automotive testing facility maintenance.
