About The Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Facility Maintenance Executive to oversee daily facility operations, maintenance activities, and workplace upkeep across our office locations. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, clean, and efficient working environment for all employees, coordinate with vendors, and support administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
Facility & Infrastructure Management
- Oversee routine maintenance of electrical systems, plumbing, AC units, elevators, generators, and other facility equipment.
- Monitor housekeeping activities to ensure cleanliness and hygiene across all office floors and common areas.
- Manage office repairs, painting, carpentry, pest control, and other upkeep tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure timely closure of issues.
Vendor & AMC Coordination
- Maintain vendor relationships and ensure timely execution of AMCs (Annual Maintenance Contracts) for all office equipment.
- Evaluate vendor performance and coordinate service visits, quotes, and agreements.
- Ensure cost-effective procurement of facility-related materials and services.
Safety & Compliance
- Monitor fire safety systems, CCTV, access control, and security equipment for proper functioning.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to facilities and workplace safety.
- Assist in conducting safety drills, risk assessments, and preventive maintenance schedules.
Office Operations & Support
- Oversee seating arrangements, workstation readiness, and movement of office assets.
- Handle facility-related tickets/requests raised by employees and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate with the Admin & IT teams for office infrastructure-related activities.
- Manage inventory of office supplies, housekeeping materials, and maintenance tools.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 25 years of experience in facility management or maintenance roles.
- Good understanding of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple office locations (if required).
Additional Requirements
- Flexibility to handle other facility issues as and when reported.
- Should be comfortable supervising housekeeping, security, and maintenance staff.
- Ability to work independently with a sense of ownership.
- ITI Electrical or Diploma (Preferred)
