Job Description

  • Facility Operations
  • Oversee maintenance of factory infrastructure including buildings, roads, drainage systems, and internal utilities.
  • Monitor facility performance and address breakdowns promptly.
  • Infrastructure Development & Projects
  • Coordinate civil and infrastructure works such as factory expansion, equipment foundations, modifications, and renovations.
  • Review layouts and design inputs in coordination with consultants, OEMs, and contractors.
  • Ensure project execution aligns with approved drawings, technical specifications, and timelines.
  • Monitor contractor performance and quality of work.
  • Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure all facility operations comply with statutory regulations and EHS standards.
  • Implement safe work practices and ensure adherence to due permit systems.
  • Coordinate with EHS teams for audits, inspections, and closure of observations.
  • Maintain records for compliance and approvals.
  • Vendor & Contractor Management
  • Coordinate with external agencies, suppliers and contractors for maintenance, civil works.
  • Support technical evaluation of vendors along with supply chain teams.
  • Monitor contractor safety, quality, and adherence to scope.
  • Verify bills (RA bills) and ensure work completion as per contract terms.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain records of repair works and facility layouts.
  • Prepare MIS reports on facility status, utility consumption, and project progress.
  • Review and approve technical documents such as foundation drawings, layouts, and design basis reports (as per role competency).
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for improving facility reliability and efficiency.
  • Implement best practices in industrial facility management.
  • Drive initiatives for sustainability and cost optimization.
