Job Description- Facility Manager- Soft Services
Facility Manager, Soft Services (FM), with a capability of managing 3 lakh sq area and ensures a building/workplace runs efficiently, safely, and comfortably, handling operations, maintenance, health & safety, budgeting, security, space management, vendor management, and strategic planning for optimal productivity, managing staff/contractors, overseeing renovations, ensuring compliance, and acting as a key link between occupants and leadership.
Core Responsibilities:
- Operations & Maintenance: Oversee daily operations, manage repairs, schedule preventative maintenance for systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), groundskeeping, and cleaning.
- Responsible for maintaining SLA/KPI for the site.
- Health, Safety & Security: Implement safety protocols, manage emergency/disaster plans, ensure fire safety, secure premises, and maintain compliance with regulations.
- Budget & Vendor Management: Prepare budgets, monitor costs, manage contracts with suppliers, and oversee external contractors.
- Space & Asset Management: Optimize space utilization, manage moves, maintain asset records, and handle renovations/upgrades.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with tenants, staff, and leadership, providing reports on expenditures, productivity, and facility needs.
- Sustainability: Implement energy efficiency and environmental programs.
