Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Facilities Manager role located in Chennai. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficient maintenance and operation of building systems, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The role involves managing vendor relationships, coordinating maintenance schedules, ensuring optimal use of space, and supervising staff as required. The Facilities Manager will also handle infrastructure upgrades and resolve any issues promptly to maintain safe and effective workplace operations.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and best practices
- Experience in facility planning, maintenance, and project management
- Strong skills in vendor management, budgeting, and cost control
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in managing health and safety protocols and optimizing operational efficiency
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related fields preferred
- Certification in Health and Safety or Facility Management is a plus
- Previous experience in managing complex facilities or similar work environments is highly desirable
