Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Be part of a team providing facilities management services for schools in Singapore. This includes overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance for building and M&E systems, as well as services such as cleaning, pest control, horticulture and security management through appointed term contractors.
- Assist the Senior Facilities Manager (SFM), Facilities Manager (FM) and Core Team in supervising site operations, planning works and services, monitoring contractors performance, and controlling the resourcing and support of subcontractors and specialists.
- Investigate and analyse reported breakdowns and faults, recommend preventive measures, liaise with contractors on quotations, seek client approval for funding, supervise rectification and improvement works, ensure quality of work, and certify claims upon completion.
- Act as one of the key front-line representatives in responding and attending to schools and client representatives professionally, effectively and efficiently, including coordinating meetings with schools and contractors and recording meeting minutes where required.
- Maintain proper documentation and records, including incident reports, inspection findings, works status updates, and uploading of field data into the computerised FM system.
- Follow up and ensure timely closure of defects identified during inspections, audits and maintenance works in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by your supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Building, Technical or Facilities Management or relevant disciplines from a recognized establishment (preferably with M&E background)
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience
- Preferably with Tier 4 Certified Facilities Management Expert (CFME) accreditation by Singapore International Facility Management Association (SIFMA)
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy and proficient with MS Office applications
- Required to travel to multiple sites
Employment Type: 2-years contract (renewable) with benefits
Working Location: North and East
Work Schedule: 5-day work week (Mon- Fri)
