Technical Executive
Job Summary:
The Technical Executive – Electrical is responsible for the
operation, maintenance, and reliability of all electrical systems within the facility. The role ensures continuous power availability, safe electrical practices, statutory compliance, and coordination of vendors to support smooth day‑to‑day facility operations.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Systems Operations
- Operate and maintain HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, bus ducts, and lighting systems
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical areas such as data centers, offices, labs, and common areas
- Attend electrical breakdowns and restore systems within defined SLAs
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules for all electrical equipment
- Carry out fault analysis, troubleshooting, and corrective actions
- Monitor electrical parameters such as load, voltage, current, and power factor
Facilities Management Support
- Coordinate with housekeeping, HVAC, fire & safety, and BMS teams for integrated FM operations
- Support fit‑out works, new tenant handovers, and electrical modifications
- Supervise electrical works carried out by contractors and service vendors
Safety & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure adherence to electrical safety norms, SOPs, and statutory regulations
- Conduct routine safety checks and enforce LOTO procedures
- Support statutory inspections (Electrical Inspectorate, Fire NOC, audits)
Energy & Utilities Management
- Monitor power consumption and assist in energy conservation initiatives
- Support DG testing, load balancing, and diesel consumption tracking
- Assist in reducing power losses and improving energy efficiency
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain logs for DG operations, electrical meter readings, PPM checklists, and breakdown reports
- Update single-line diagrams, equipment history cards, and AMC documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for facility management review
Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory)
Experience
- 4–5 years of experience in Facilities Management, Commercial Buildings, IT Parks, or Corporate Offices
- Experience handling 24x7 facilities and critical power systems will be an added advantage
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of facility electrical systems and utilities
- Hands‑on experience with DG sets, UPS, transformers, LT panels, and lighting controls
- operation and handling of BMS system, EMS FAPA alarm systems, fire suppression systems
- Ability to read and interpret single‑line diagrams and schematics
- Familiarity with FM tools, checklists, and work permit systems
- Basic knowledge of BMS interface related to electrical systems
